Who We Are
We are here not for income, but for outcome
We are the Sisters Keepers Association, founded by a group of friends who want to make a difference in the lives of the marginalized and abandoned in Ghana, where we hail from.
We aim to empower women in our society, giving them a voice, advocating for them and giving them ability to have a say in society .
The focus of our mission is to bring aid to dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease sufferers as well as to support their careers.
We aim to educate people living in these communities about the effects of dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease, dispelling myths surrounding these conditions and raising awareness of these conditions.
Our main body of work is the support for elderly care as they are facing neglect due to prevailing economic conditions in Ghana.
The association was founded in July 2017 which has grown to 110 members over the years with chapters in Ghana, USA, Netherlands, UK, Germany and Norway. Our membership comprises of Ghanaian sisters living all over the world and we welcome new members to support us in this worthy cause.
